This brochure was created by the German Association for the Promotion of Care for the Elderly (KDA) and contains essential information on the legal framework, recognition procedures, and working conditions in Germany.

We also align our work with international standards set by the World Health Organization (WHO), in particular the Global Code of Practice on the International Recruitment of Health Personnel, which promotes the ethical recruitment of health personnel worldwide.

Nursing professionals are given the opportunity, as part of the complaints procedure, to report any irregularities in the recruitment process.
